Dashboard Getting Started
Learn how to use the Ticky Dashboard to manage your Discord server’s ticket system.
First Steps
1. Log In
- Visit tickybot.com/dashboard
- Click “Login with Discord”
- Authorize the application
- You’ll be redirected to the dashboard
2. Select Your Server
- You’ll see a list of servers where you have admin permissions
- Click on a server to access its dashboard
- If a server doesn’t appear, ensure:
- The bot is in the server
- You have admin permissions
- The bot has been properly configured
3. Explore the Dashboard
The dashboard is organized into sections:
- Overview: Statistics and recent activity
- Panels: Create and manage ticket panels
- Categories: Organize tickets by type
- Tickets: View and manage all tickets
- Settings: Configure bot behavior
Creating Your First Panel
- Navigate to Panels in the sidebar
- Click Create Panel
- Fill in the basic information:
- Title: “Create Support Ticket”
- Description: Brief description of what the ticket is for
- Channel: Select where to send the panel
- Click Create
- The panel will be sent to the selected channel
Setting Up Categories
Categories help organize different types of tickets:
- Go to Categories
- Click Create Category
- Configure:
- Name: “Support”, “Applications”, etc.
- Emoji: Visual identifier
- Description: What this category is for
- Set up opening and closing messages
- Configure ping roles (optional)
- Save the category
Managing Tickets
Viewing Tickets
- Go to Tickets in the sidebar
- Use filters to find specific tickets:
- By status (Open, Closed, Archived)
- By category
- By date range
- Click on a ticket to view details
Ticket Actions
From the ticket details page, you can:
- Close: Close the ticket
- Reopen: Reopen a closed ticket
- Delete: Permanently delete a ticket
- View Transcript: See the conversation history
- Add Members: Add users to the ticket
Configuring Settings
General Settings
- Go to Settings → General
- Configure:
- Server name and icon
- Default settings
- Basic preferences
Logging
- Go to Settings → Logging
- Select a channel for logs
- Choose which events to log:
- Ticket Created
- Ticket Closed
- Ticket Deleted
- User Added/Removed
- And more…
Admin Roles
- Go to Settings → Admin Roles
- Add Discord roles that should have admin permissions
- These roles can:
- Manage all tickets
- Configure settings
- Access all dashboard features
Tips
- Start Simple: Begin with basic panels and add complexity later
- Test First: Always test panels in a test channel first
- Organize: Use categories to keep tickets organized
- Monitor: Check the overview page regularly for insights
